Westminster-on-Sea
There are three sections to the baseboard section and, for ease of navigation, a link to each of the three pages is listed below:-
OK, I'm going to build myself a little interim layout while deciding what to do about my house and I've called it Westminster-on-Sea.
Westminster is a part of the town where I live, Sheerness, that is the other side of the railway line to the rest of the town. It used to have - but has been demolished now - a small area of housing, a gasworks - though only the gasometers are left now - a timber merchants and a few other businesses. A few hundred yards away there also used to be some cottages. Westminster is also about equidistant between Queenborough and Sheerness. That would mean that this fictitious station Westminster-on-Sea would be about a mile from each of these stations.
